AMJPE has announces that John Connolly has joined their Birmingham office as a senior investment manager. He joins the investment team and will report to Harry Jeavons-Fellows who is head of the Birmingham office. Connolly joins AMJPE from Wragge & Co where he was a senior associate within the private equity team specialising in providing advice to private equity firms and their portfolio companies. In the 12 months to May 2004, he advised 3i on their £90m refinancing of LDV vans and their £27.5m investment in Total Home Entertainment. During his time at Wragge, Connolly spent seven months on secondment at AMJPE assisting on the investment in TMI Foods in January 2003. He trained as a lawyer at Weightmans in Liverpool. Upon qualification in 1995, he joined Eversheds' Manchester office where he worked for several years in the corporate department before joining Wragge & Co in February 2000.
