NIB Capital Acquisition Finance
NIB Capital Acquisition Finance has recently announced several promotions and new appointments. Gerard Burgers, who set up the London operation of NIB CAF in 1995, has been promoted to global head of acquisition finance with responsibility for developing operations and market position across Europe. Robert Schuman moves from London, where he had responsibility for NIB Capital mezzanine investments, to head the Benelux acquisition finance team based in The Hague and Amsterdam. NIB has also announced a new head of the UK acquisition group. Peter Allan joins from the Royal Bank of Scotland where he has spent 15 years, the last five in the Leveraged Finance Group. He was most recently involved in the buyouts of Trim Engineering and Mayflower Technical Services. The UK team has also gained Zoe Wimborne, who joins NIB after ten years at Barclays. Wimborne spent the last three years at Barclays Capital Acquisition Finance where she focused on transactions of £100m and above. NIB’s acquisition finance team now includes 18 professionals in the UK and Netherlands.
