Baronsmead VCT and VCT 2 release results
Baronsmead VCT plc has reported results for the six months to 31 March 2004. Over the period, the Net Asset Value (NAV) per ordinary share increased by 9.9% to 99.1p per share before the payment of a tax-free dividend of 3p per share and the NAV per C share rose by 7.2% to 101.2p before deduction of its interim dividend of 0.8p. The C shares will convert into ordinary shares in October 2004.Baronsmead VCT 2 Plc has also announced its results for the year to 31 March 2004. Over the year the NAV per share increased by 13.6% to 101.9p per share after payment of tax-free dividends of 8.5p per share. The fund has generated a return of 43.5% over its first six years.
