Arbuthnot, the UK small- and mid-cap securities firm has appointed Paul Havranek from Cazenove to head its research team. Havranek replaces Richard Andrews, who left last year. At Cazenove, Havranek was head of smaller companies research and lead analyst covering the UK small/mid-cap support services sector. He set up and was head of the venture finance advisory unit, which acted as advisors and placement agents for pre-IPO companies.
