Land Securities

Land Securities PLC has raised £157m following the purchase of acontrolling interest by London and Regional Properties Limited of the Land Securities freehold ownership of the London Hilton. The deal includes senior debt funding provided by Abbey National Treasury Services PLC, and mezzanine funding from Dresdner Bank AG in London.

Land Securities plc has a £2.2bn development programme with over 30 development projects either underway or being planned.
