Close Brothers Corporate Finance
The Close Brothers' corporate restructuring group (CRG) has recruited a new director. Matthew Prest joins Close Brothers corporate finance from M&G Investment Management Ltd, where he was a director of restructuring. Prest has been appointed to bolster the CRG's cross-border capacity with its German team. His appointment reflects the increased focus CRG has across Europe and the opportunities that exist in Germany. Over the last two years Prest has worked on numerous high profile restructurings - including Avon Energy, Queens Moat House and Drax. CRG also announces the appointment of Simon Davies. Davies comes with a background in law, specialising in the energy sector. Prest joins Close Brothers Corporate Finance in October, while Davies joins in September.
