Aon has appointed Anka Taylor as director and James Boulton as legal and technical advisor to continue the growth of Aon's transaction liability unit. The transaction team is part of Aon Professional Risks and specialises in arranging insurance in the M&A and IPO arena. For the past ten years Taylor, who trained as a lawyer at MacFarlanes, has worked as a senior underwriter at Hiscox, initiating and developing the company's M&A presence. Taylor has underwritten a wide variety of multi-jurisdictional, high profile warranty & indemnity, tax, initial public offering and legal opinion risks. Boulton is a qualified solicitor, having practised at the Victorian bar and has two years further M&A experience. He will specialise in the areas of warranty & indemnity and prospectus liability insurance.
