YFM follows growth line
Latest figures released by YFM Group record considerable growth for the Leeds-based regional fund manager. Founded 23 years ago, YFM is now responsible for 19 funds, ranging in size from £1.6m-50m and its funds under management have grown from £17m in 1996 to £260m in 2005. In the year ending 31 March 2005, YFM invested £19.1m in 73 companies involving capital from 11 different funds. The group currently has 180 portfolio companies across the UK. YFM consists of three main operating divisions - YFM Private Equity, YFM Venture Finance and YFM Business Development - and has 80 employees operating from offices in Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Plymouth, London, Sheffield, Rotherham, Wakefield and Hull.
