Unigestion
Andrew Marchant has joined the London office of alternative asset management firm Unigestion as an advisor to the private equity group and will serve as deputy chairman of the firm’s private equity investment committee. He will also take on responsibilities as director of Unigestion (UK) Ltd, an FSA regulated subsidiary. Between 1998 and 2001 Marchant worked at Cinven and previously to that he was a partner at Schroder Ventures.Paul Newsome has also been appointed to the London office of Unigestion. He will work as an investment director on venture capital and telecom fund investments. Newsome joins from BancBoston where he was responsible for venture capital investments in early stage technology companies.
