EVCA study shows importance of venture capital
A new study undertaken by EVCA highlights the importance of venture capital to growing companies. The survey, entitled ‘Survey of the Economic and Social Impact of Venture Capital in Europe’, reveals that 94.5% of venture-backed companies said that venture capital had been an essential ingredient in their creation, survival or growth. 60% of these said also that without the funding and support of venture capitalists, they would not be in business today.
