Bridgepoint has announced the appointment of John Davison as a director based in London. Davison was previously a director of the Carlyle Group in London until 1998 where he worked on a range of investment opportunities principally in the media, telecommunications and industrial sectors. Prior to that he was at McKinsey and Co and Booz Allen & Hamilton. Davison is a graduate in natural sciences from Girton College, Cambridge and has an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration. He also represented Great Britain in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney.
