Grant Thornton Corporate Finance has announced the appointment of Tim Blois as a client service director in the firm's Cambridge office. Blois qualified as a chartered accountant with Robson Rhodes in Cambridge in 1991 and has specialised in lead advisory for the past 11 years. The Cambridge lead advisory practice plans to double its team and fee income over the next three years, and to further expand the M&A side of the business. As a senior member of the practice, Blois will have responsibility for leading, initiating and implementing deals involving private equity investment and larger acquisition work, with tangible benefits for corporate finance on both a local and national level.
