Following the retirement of senior partner Richard Bond and leadership changes in the firm's main practice areas, a new management team has now taken office at Herbert Smith LLP. David Gold has become senior partner and Sonya Leydecker has replaced him as head of litigation and arbitration. The new heads of corporate and finance are Michael Walter and Jason Fox, respectively. A professional manager is yet to be appointed as chief operating officer and former executive partner Iain Rothie is acting COO in the meantime. Helen Raine is the firm's new business development partner.
