In contrast to what was reported in the 20 October 2003 issue of …unquote", KPMG, represented by Mark Senior, Richard Jones and Phil Rouse provided corporate finance advice in the Xyratex deal. They were not involved in the financial due diligence as reported.Contrary to what was reported in The Learning Library article in the 3 November 2003 issue of …unquote", KPMG offered corporate finance advice to the management team, not 'bid support'. The team was led by Mark Fallow and assisted by Steve Elsigood and Andrew Kilborn.
