Englefield Capital
Englefield Capital LLC announced that Marc Thiery, most recently a managing director at Allianz Private Equity Partners, has joined the firm. Based in London, Thiery will work with founding partners Dominic Shorthouse, Etienne de Villiers, Eric Walters, Adam Barron and Edmund Lazarus. Before joining Englefield, he was one of four managing directors at Allianz Private Equity Partners, being responsible for the European investment activities of the firm. His prior experience in the European private equity industry includes seven years of buyout activity at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners and Apax Partners. Thiery holds a BA degree from the European Business School and an MBA degree from the Harvard Business School.
