Private Equity Lawyers Forum announces second annual conference
The Private Equity Lawyers Forum has announced its second annual conference, to be held on 22 April 2005. The conference is open to all in-house lawyers working within the private equity sector. John Mackie, CEO of the British Venture Capital Association, will give the keynote address at the conference, while the programme will include a variety of workshops: fund formation and other fund issues chaired by Clifford Chance; risk management for private equity houses chaired by O'Melveny & Myers; comparative terms in MBO and VC deals and standardisation of term sheets chaired by Weil Gotshal/Morrison & Foerster; and exits in the private equity sector chaired by Macfarlanes. Jim Strang of Gartmore will be present on the investment perspective.
