IP2IPO to invest in Sigma
Sigma Technology Group plc, the technology venture capital and advisory specialist, has recently announced that IP2IPO Group Plc has subscribed for 1,804,675 new ordinary shares at a value of 20p per share. The total number of shares represents 5% of Sigma's ordinary share capital and the deal is valued at £360,935. As part of this investment, IP2IPO will support Sigma on an exclusive basis in the development of strategic relations with Scottish universities. In addition to the investment, Sigma has granted IP2IPO the option of purchasing 5,414,030 more shares at 40p each at a total of £2,165,612 at any point up till 30 June 2006. This would then give IP2IPO an additional 15% in Sigma.
