Hammond Suddards Edge

The Birmingham corporate finance team of Hammonds Suddards Edge has appointed Amanda Allen as partner. Formerly, Allen was a senior partner in the corporate finance team at the Birmingham office of Pinsent Curtis Biddle where she spent eleven years and was made a partner in 1992. She advises on M&A, disposals, joint ventures, takeovers and business and corporate reorganisations. Allen was also head of the Pinsent Curtis Biddle automotive team and led the firm’s initiative to target US corporations. This appointment follows that of senior employment partner David Beswick from Eversheds six weeks ago.
