Cobalt Corporate Finance Ltd has announced that Matthew Judge has been promoted to associate director. Judge joined Cobalt from JPMorgan in June 2003, where he spent three and a half years in its technology practice within the software and IT services team. Whilst at JPMorgan, his particular focus was on financial services software and the OSS markets, and he advised a range of companies on various corporate finance transactions, including private placements, M&A and main market techMARK IPOs. Clients included Reuters, SunGard, Alcatel, Amdocs and Openwave, as well as earlier stage technology companies, such as Intec Telecom Systems, Sendo, Orchestream and Mason Communications. Prior to investment banking, Judge qualified as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers, specializing in corporate taxation.
