Chris Ward, head of Corporate Finance Advisory at Deloitte, has been appointed chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants' Corporate Finance Faculty. Ward is a chartered accountant and has specialised in corporate finance for more than 20 years, with a particular focus on the private equity market. As a partner with Deloitte since 1979, Ward has advised on a large number of buyouts and transactions across a range of sectors. These have included the buyout of the Tussauds Group and the buy-in management buyout of Clydesdale Financial Services. He has recently established a private equity fund placement advisory team at Deloitte.
