ANGLE has announced the appointment of Stephen Bates as director of ventures in the UK, ANGLE's business unit responsible for establishing and managing its Progeny® companies. Bates's role within the Company will be to lead the evaluation and development of new Progeny® companies for ANGLE commercialising intellectual property sourced from ANGLE's technology clients. He has extensive experience gained from senior positions at Generics Group Plc and Arthur D Little, where he managed projects such as multi-national strategy and change programmes for Volvo in Sweden. Most recently, he spent three years with Marks & Spencer, as commercial director running their new business development and innovation function in London.
