LPFA's funds of funds commitment
The London Pension Funds Authority has announced that it is to make commitments totalling £125m to funds-of-funds as part of a drive to increase its exposure to alternative investments. LPFA has committed £40m to Pantheon Ventures, £60m to HarbourVest Partners, and £25m to LGT Capital Partners. The Authority, which is responsible for public sector employee retirement plans, will invest 60% of the money in the US and 40% in Europe. The commitment to LGT will be invested solely in Europe.
