Amethyst Corporate Finance
The corporate finance advisory house Amethyst Corporate Finance has recruited the investment banker Barry Hunter. Hunter qualified as a chartered accountant after graduating from Heriot-Watt University in 1995, and then joined Ernst & Young's corporate finance department. On moving to Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in 2000, Hunter worked on transactions including the trade sale of Whitbread's pubs and bars division to Morgan Grenfell Private Equity, later concentrating on the construction and engineering sectors.
