Crescendo Ventures
Crescendo Ventures has made two appointments to its portfolio development team in London. Ivan Bernard-Brunel joins the firm as a principal and Emma Heycock joins as director of human capital both are in the portfolio development group for Europe. Working alongside the investment teams in Europe and the US, the portfolio development team is responsible for providing portfolio companies with the support and resources needed within their early growth stages; this includes recruitment and forging strategic alliances. Bernard-Brunel joins Crescendo from Lucent Technologies, where he held a number of senior positions, latterly as director of business development and M&A within the optical networking group. Heycock joins the firm from marchFIRST, a global professional services firm, where she was responsible for recruiting MBAs from the top US and European business schools for the firm’s international strategy practice. With the addition of Bernard-Brunel and Heycock, Crescendo Ventures’ Portfolio Development Group comprises seven professionals.
