
BGF appoints Caird’s Barker

Business Growth Fund (BGF) has appointed Ben Barker to its investment team, with a focus on the north of England.
Barker joins from Caird Capital, where he was an investment director and worked on deals including the sale of Tuffnells to Connect Group and McColl's Retail Group.
Barker began his career at HSBC and went on to hold senior roles at Bank of Scotland Integrated Finance, where he worked for eight years.
In his new role, Barker will be based across BGF's offices in Manchester and Leeds.
