Catalyst hires Shah as partner
UK-based advisory firm Catalyst Corporate Finance has hired Hamish Shah as a partner.
At Catalyst, Shah will work closely with business owners and management teams with a particular focus on the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sector.
Prior to the role, Shah worked as a director in the corporate finance team at Cable & Wireless and as director of European mid-cap TMT investment banking at Merrill Lynch. More recently, he joined Capstan Capital Partners' M&A advisory team as a partner.
The appointment follows the firm's promotion of Richard Hollden as a partner and the appointment of Michael Mullay as an M&A executive in April 2016. Shah's hire marks the seventh appointment since the firm moved into its London office in June 2015.
