Lincoln hires Oakley's Brooks as MD
Mid-market advisory firm Lincoln International has appointed Oakley Advisory’s Chris Brooks as managing director in its London-based telecommunications, media and technology team.
Brooks leaves his role as managing director at Oakley, having spent four years with the firm.
During that period he worked on acquisitions, disposals and reverse takeovers, as well as debt and equity fundraisings. Transactions included NVM Private Equity's sale of IT services firm e-know.net to Nasstar for £13m and LivingBridge's £5.74m investment in unified communications provider IP Solutions.
Prior to joining Oakley, Brooks spent two years managing the de-merger of Cable & Wireless Worldwide from its parent group, which completed in 2012.
He also spent 12 years in the corporate finance advisory team at Rothschild, leaving his position as director in 2009.
The appointment comes shortly after Lincoln made another senior appointment in its London office, having hired Tomas Freyman as managing director in its valuations and opinions group in April.
