Grant Thornton appoints Budworth to managing director
Adam Budworth has been appointed managing director of Grant Thornton in the Channel Islands.
The appointment came into effect on 1 April. Budworth joined Grant Thornton in January 2014, after 12 years with Mazars. He started his career at Deloitte in 1998.
Budworh replaces Dave Clark, who held the role for 15 years and stepped aside to concentrate on the local business practice of the firm in Guernsey and Jersey.
Parallel to Budworth's promotion, Cyril Swale took up a new role of head of the Guernsey office. He is also head of audit for the Channel Islands.
In April, Grant Thornton promoted Simon Woodcock and Anthony Platt to director in its corporate finance team.
