ECI promotes Watt and Hayhurst

ECI Partners has promoted Chris Watt to its investment committee while John Hayhurst has been named head of the firm’s northern office.
Watt has been with ECI for 17 years, becoming partner in 2003 and head of the GP's consumer team for the past 10 years. Notable deals he has worked on include Nuaire, Reed & Mackay and CarTrawler.
Hayhurst has worked at ECI for 13 years and has been a partner in the Manchester office for the past decade.
The promotions come as Tim Raffle retires from his role as managing partner after 26 years with the firm. Raffle was a key player in establishing ECI's Northern office in 1997 and has led the team since then. He has also chaired the GP's investment committee for the past 15 years.
ECI managing partner Steve Tudge has succeeded Raffle as chair of the investment committee.
