Grant Thornton promotes Morgan to head of corporate finance
Grant Thornton has promoted London-based partner Andy Morgan to head of corporate finance advisory.
Morgan will replace Manchester-based Ali Sharifi, who has left Grant Thornton and had led the team since 2014.
Since joining Grant Thornton in 2012, Morgan has worked on deals in the technology, media and telecommunications sector, with a particular focus on software, IT services and fintech. He recently advised communications support and consultancy firm Sabio on its £50m acquisition by Lyceum Capital.
Prior to joining Grant Thornton, Morgan spent 10 years with PwC, leaving his role as partner in December 2011.
Morgan recently wrote a comment piece for unquote" on the attraction of private equity firms to the UK fintech sector.
