CVC appoints Charterhouse's Eberle as investment director
CVC Capital Partners has appointed Charterhouse Capital Partnersт Thomas Eberle as investment director.
In his new role, Eberle will work as part of CVC's London-based telecommunications, media and technology team.
Eberle leaves his role as investment manager at Charterhouse after four years with the firm. Prior to joining Charterhouse, he spent three years at The Gores Group, leaving his position as senior associate in September 2010.
CVC has this year made two investments in the online gambling sector. In April it acquired Maltese company Tipico in a deal reportedly worth €1.1bn, while two months later it acquired Italy-based Sisal in a €1bn deal.
