Gibson Dunn & Crutcher hires Howe as partner
Law firm Gibson Dunn & Crutcher has appointed James Howe as a partner to boost its London-based private equity and M&A practice.
Following the appointment, Howe will join the private equity and M&A team at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher's London office and will focus in particular on cross-border leveraged buyouts, buy-ins and strategic sales and acquisitions.
Prior to the role, Howe had been a partner in the London-based team of law firm Proskauer Rose since 2015. Before that, he worked as a partner in the private equity team at Kirkland & Ellis from 2010-2015.
