Inflexion promotes Williams to partner
Inflexion Private Equity has promoted Mark Williams to partner in its London office and appointed Octopus Healthcare’s Andrew Neville as assistant director.
Williams steps up from his role as investment director, having joined the firm in 2011 from Sovereign Capital.
Most recently, Williams worked on Inflexion's acquisition of corporate travel business Reed & Mackay – where he is now a board member – from ECI Partners and Livingbridge. He also has seats on the board at portfolio companies Kynetec and Alcumus, as well as working on the firm's investment in pilot training company CTC Aviation Group. Inflexion sold its stake in CTC via a £143m deal in May 2015, generating a 3x return.
Neville leaves his role at Octopus after just one year with the firm, having joined in July 2015 from GI Partners. He worked on deals including the development and opening of a new UK private hospital business and a platform investment in the special needs schools space.
Inflexion recently held final closes for its Inflexion Enterprise Fund IV and its Inflexion Supplemental Fund IV, both on £250m.
