
LPEQ appoints Mark Florman as chair

LPEQ, the trade body of listed private equity companies, has appointed former BVCA CEO Mark Florman as chairperson.
LPEQ, which has the purpose of engaging with investors to improve understanding of the key investment considerations when looking to invest in the listed private equity sector, has added Florman to its board as the first member from outside its membership.
Florman was a senior principal at Doughty Hanson from 2001-2008. He went on to form the private equity business 8 Miles and was CEO of BVCA from 2011-2013, when he became a senior adviser to MCF Corporate Finance.
