
L Catterton hires Barade as partner
Private equity house L Catterton has hired Jean-Philippe Barade as a partner and head of its London office.
As part of his role, Barade will lead the London office of the consumer-focused private equity house L Catterton. Barade joined L Catterton from London-based investment firm B&B Investment Partners, where he worked as co-founding partner, focusing on the consumer and healthcare sectors.
Prior to this role, Barade worked for five years at Morgan Stanley Private Equity as a managing director and partner on the Morgan Stanley Capital Partners V Investment Committee. He had previously worked as a principal in the worldwide consumer, retail and leisure team at private equity house Permira. Barade began his career as an associate in Credit Suisse First Boston's M&A team.
