TA Associates promotes Bahnsen to MD

In his new role, London-based Bahnsen will focus on investments in the European healthcare sector, as well as investments across multiple industries in the Nordic region.

The new managing director has been with TA for seven years, having joined the GP from a position as associate director at HgCapital. Prior to his time at HgCapital, Bahnsen was an associate at Goldman Sachs.

In addition to Bahnsen, TA has promoted Boston-based Ethan K Liebermann from senior vice-president to principal. In Mumbai, Aditya Sharma was promoted to senior vice-president from vice-president and Vivek Mohan was promoted to vice-president from senior associate.
