Draper Esprit bolsters Dublin office with McClafferty
Venture capital firm Draper Esprit has hired online entrepreneur Nicola McClafferty as an investment director in its Dublin office.
McClafferty will join partner Brian Caulfield in the Dublin office to focus on investing in Irish tech businesses. Draper Esprit stated the hire highlights its commitment to Ireland as a growing technology hub.
McClafferty was most recently CEO of Covetique.com, an online retailer of pre-owned luxury fashion, which was acquired by Asos in 2015. Prior to that she held positions at Balderton Capital and Ravensbeck, and started her career at investment bank Jefferies International as an analyst.
