Livingbridge appoints Carnwath to lead strategic advisory board
Livingbridge has appointed its non-executive director and Land Securities chairperson Alison Carnwath as chair of its newly formed strategic advisory board.
The board will be formed of people from across business, politics and finance, and will provide guidance related to political, economic, social, regulatory and technological issues.
Carnwath will be joined by Man Group chair and Dixons Carphone deputy chair Ian Livingstone, formerly CEO of BT Group and UK minister of state for trade and investment. The board also includes Jupiter Fund Management vice-chairperson Edward Bonham Carter; Alibaba Group managing director of global strategy and operations Amee Chande; and Dunelm chair Andy Harrison, formerly CEO of Whitbread, Easyjet and RAC.
In addition to her position at Land Securities, Carnwath is also a senior adviser to Evercore Partners and a supervisory board member and audit committee chair at chemicals group BASF. She holds non-executive positions at insurance business Zurich and HGV manufacturer Paccar.
The announcement comes six months after Livingbridge held a £660m final close for its sixth flagship fund, surpassing its £600m target.
The firm recently featured in the unquote" In Profile series, charting the European private equity mid-market.
