Cairngorm hires Thaper as investment director
UK-based private equity firm Cairngorm Capital has appointed Amit Thaper as an investment director.
Thaper worked at HIG Capital's Boston office as vice-president between 2015-2017, where he was involved in small and mid-market company acquisitions.
Prior to HIG, he worked at Bain & Company's Boston and London offices as a strategy consultant between 2007-2014. He advised on deals in the healthcare, manufacturing and distribution industries.
He also worked as a medical surgeon within the UK's National Health Service between 2004-2007.
