Rede appoints Barbour-Smith to chief of staff
UK-based private equity advisory firm Rede Partners has appointed Mark Barbour-Smith to chief of staff, a newly created position for the company.
In his new role, Barbour-Smith will be responsible for staff management and business operations at the placement agent.
Barbour-Smith joins Rede from Credit Suisse, where he worked between 2007-2017 as COO. Previously, he held the position of director at the London and New York offices of HSBC between 2000-2007. He joined HSBC from Clifford Chance, where he had worked since 1996.
