Cairngorm appoints McGill as investment director
UK-based private equity firm Cairngorm Capital Partners has hired Neil McGill as an investment director.
McGill previously worked at accountancy and business advisory firm BDO between 2010-2017 as director of M&A advisory. Before that, he worked as director at Tiger Advisors between 2007-2010. He also gained experience from ABN Amro Bank, where he worked as an investment banker between 2000-2007 and from EY in 1997-2000.
Having worked with the Cairngorm principals previously, McGill will work on UK investments for the firm. He will also lead Cairngorm's activities in Scotland.
