
Park Square promotes three to partner, hires two as VP
UK-based credit provider Park Square Capital has promoted Howard Sharp, Piers Dennison and Andrew Haywood to partners and hired Axel Wehtje and Sven Bozuwa as vice-presidents.
Sharp joined Park Square in 2016, previously holding the position of head of mid-market direct lending. Prior to joining, he worked at GE Capital between 2010-2015 as head of origination and sponsor coverage, and as head of leveraged capital markets. Before that, he worked at RBS between 2001-2009 as deputy head of leveraged capital markets. He also had experience at Societe Generale between 1992-2001.
Dennison had been head of investor relations at Park Square since 2013. Before that, he worked at Providence Equity Partners between 2011-2013 as managing director and at Candover between 2003-2010, also as managing director. He also holds experience from Boston Consulting Group and SG Warburg.
Haywood had been CFO and COO at Park Square since 2015. Before that, he worked at 3i Group between 2003-2015 as group financial controller and operations director.
Prior to joining, Wehtje worked at Goldman Sachs between 2009-2017 as executive director in the leveraged finance team, working on the execution of bond and loan financing transactions for corporate clients and financial sponsors.
Bozuwa worked at Permira Debt Managers between 2013-2017 as an investment director before joining Park Square. He focused on credit analysis, as well as the execution of senior and subordinated debt investments for mid-market companies across Europe. Before that, he worked at Citigroup as an associate in the leveraged finance division between 2010-2013.
