YFM hires Thomas as investment director
Venture capital firm YFM Equity Partners has hired Andy Thomas as an investment director in its Manchester office.
Thomas will join the northern team of YFM, and will be responsible for sourcing and leading new investments. Prior to joining, he worked at Maven Capital Partners between 2013-2017 as an investment director, where he was involved in the establishment of the Greater Manchester Loan Fund.
Before that, he worked at Royal Bank of Scotland between 2004-2013 holding various roles, most recently as head of corporate transactions in the Midlands and northern area.
Earlier in May, YFM held a final close for its maiden closed-ended buyout fund, YFM Equity Partners 2016, on £45m, surpassing its target by 50%.
