Stirling Square hires ex-Segulah partner Henrik Lif

UK-based mid-market private equity house Stirling Square Capital Partners has appointed Henrik Lif to its investment team.
Lif will join the firm's origination team in London and will target the European market. Prior to joining Stirling Square, Lif was co-managing partner at Nordic mid-cap buyout house Segulah from 2014-2016.
As part of the Swedish fund manager, he worked on fundraising for the firm's fifth vehicle, the SEK 2.4bn Segulah V, and led several investments, including the acquisition of Nordic translation and interpretation company Semantix, Stockholm-based commercial property constructor Zengun, gadgets retailer Teknikmagasine, and information service provider Docu Nordic.
In September 2016, Lif left Segulah following "discussion in the partner group about the management of the firm", Segulah said in a statement at the time.
Prior to joining Segulah, Lif spent 13 years at Nordic Capital as investment manager and director. He took part in the acquisitions of Anticimex, Biovitrum, KappAhl and CPS Color Group. In 1998, he started his career as a consultant at Dutch management consulting firm Arthur D Little.
