
Catalyst hires Wiseman as partner

London-based corporate finance house Catalyst Corporate Finance has appointed Matthew Wiseman as a partner.
Wiseman will be responsible for working with management teams of businesses in the personal care and beauty sectors. More widely, he will be assisting financial sponsors in the consumer space.
Prior to joining Catalyst, Wiseman co-founded beauty and cosmetics advisory business Baylor Klein in 2008. Before that, he worked at Close Brothers Corporate Finance between 2007-2008 as an associate director. He also holds experience from PwC as a manager.
Deals he has worked on include Bulldog, REN Skincare, Batiste Dry Shampoo and Liz Earle. He has also worked with global corporates including PZ Cussons and Henkel.
