Palatine appoints Ross-Jones as portfolio director
UK lower-mid-market private equity firm Palatine Private Equity has hired Tom Ross-Jones as a portfolio director in its Manchester office.
Prior to joining, Ross-Jones worked at EY between 2006-2017, holding the position of assistant director in the firm's Leeds and London offices. His work involved completing due diligence and advising carve-outs and post-merger integrations.
Ross-Jones will work with portfolio head Steve Donaldson and with partner Ed Fazakerley; he will help manage the firm's existing portfolio and will also look into new investments.
The appointment follows the recent close of Palatine's impact fund, which reached a hard-cap of £100m in September 2017.
