Sofinnova promotes Richter to managing partner
Venture capital firm Sofinnova Partners has appointed Henrijette Richter as managing partner.
The move follows the recent promotions of Antoine Papiernik, Denis Lucquin, Graziano Seghezzi and Monique Saulnier. Richter joined Sofinnova in 2014 and led investments in companies including Asceneuron in September 2015 and US-based Delinia.
Prior to joining, she worked at Novo Holdings as an investment director between 2007-2014, where she co-founded Novo Seeds. Before that, she worked at Vaekstfonden between 2004-2007 as an investment analyst and director of scientific analysis. She also worked as a scientist in molecular biology at the University of Copenhagen and at MIT.
