YFM hires Harrison as portfolio director

UK-based private equity firm YFM Equity Partners has appointed Steve Harrison as portfolio director in its Leeds office to manage the firm's growth and buyout investments.
Harrison joins YFM from Santander Bank, where he worked between 2010-2017 as a director. He worked on sourcing investment opportunities, restructuring and providing support to SMEs, and also launched the bank's £200m growth capital fund focusing on Northern England.
Before that, Harrison worked at Endless as associate director between 2006-2010, and at EY as manager between 2002-2006. He also holds experience from Arthur Andersen.
The appointment follows the recent investment of YFM in 4net Technologies; the transaction was the fourth investment made from YFM's maiden closed-ended buyout fund, YFM Equity Partners 2016, which held a final close on £45m in May 2017.
