Maven Capital hires Marsh as investment manager
Maven Capital Partners has hired Alex Marsh as an investment manager for its north-east investment team in Durham.
In his new role, Marsh will help manage the Durham County Council's £20m Finance Durham fund, which mandated Maven as fund manager in March 2017. Maven opened its Durham office in July 2017.
Marsh will work closely with SMEs and high-growth businesses to help them achieve their growth plans, the firm stated.
He joins from UK-based Northstar Ventures, where he invested in early-stage businesses in the digital and technology sector.
Prior to this, Marsh worked as corporate finance manager at PwC in the M&A team, responsible for a range of deals with public, private and private-equity-owned businesses, ranging from £10-230m.
