 
                Bregal Freshstream hires de Graauw from Bain & Company
Bregal Freshstream has hired Lodewijk de Graauw from management consultancy Bain & Company's turnaround division as head of portfolio operations.
In his new role, de Graauw will be responsible for overseeing the strategy and development of all of Bregal's existing portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Bregal, de Graauw worked at Bain for 14 years. His final role at the company was partner and head of the EMEA turnaround practice. He was one of four founding partners at Bain's Perth and India offices.
Bregal is focused on mid-market investments in the UK and Benelux. It mainly targets equity investments but also has the flexibility to use debt and debt-like instruments.
